I’m happy to announce that the second volume of Flash Grammar comes out on Friday—and you are all invited to the release party!
When: Friday, August 17th, 3:30–5:30 p.m
Where: Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade, 511 NW Couch St. Portland, OR 97209
Cost: The party is free to attend. You have to pay for your own food and video games at Ground Kontrol.
About the Anthology: Experience grammar like you never have before! Can you write a 100 word sentence that someone can read without stumbling? Can you mix gerunds, infinitives, dialogue, and rhyme together in one passage? We show you that, yes, indeed you can! Sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, each author in 8 Bit Grammar: A Flash Grammar Anthology explores a different grammar rule through their writing. The anthology looks at grammar issues such as, breaking grammar rules for good reasons, the use of adverbials and adjectivals, the difference between concrete and abstract nouns, and much much more. Published by PSU’s Grammar for Writers and Publishers, this anthology offers a new look into old rules.
After the event, the anthology will be available as a free PDF or e-book download.
